I received a few gift cards for here as a birthday gift. My girlfriend and I came in for a nice dinner and a much needed night to ourselves. Neither one of us had eaten here before, we have only lived in Houston for about a year now. From the moment we walked in I knew were in for a treat. The walk to the table took us past the wine room, to a cozy table near the patio. The dark ceilings, low lights, accented with the white walls, and brick were perfect. Nice intimate setting. Our food was amazing. I can honestly say it was the best Filet Mignon I've had. I didn't even have to chew, it just kind of melted when it hit my tongue. The ambiance mixed with the delicious cuisine, and excellent service made for a perfect night. Great food can take you back in time. To a memory, a feeling, much like music can. We dined and we enjoyed a few memories, laughs, and walked away from the table with a feeling that we usually get when we leave a family gathering. That warm, smile on your face, just a "good feeling" kind of feeling. It far exceeded our expectations and we will be returning. Thank you for making our night perfect!

Service and atmosphere was great. First time it was just fine but not really memorable (except for our brilliantly funny waiter). This time, the snapper was encrusted in a cream-infused greasy outer shell made of deep-fried potato strings. It was so rich and oily that I had to strip away the coating and dig out the fish. How could that dish end up on an upscale restaurant menu? I've had fresher calamari but big points that they offered to sauté rather than deep fry it. The creamed spinach was essentially a cream soup with some spinach mixed in. It has potential but they've clearly lost their way. Last time here for a while.

    disappointing!
i ordered delivery from here and they sent my food with no silverwear or napkins. i had nothing at my work so i had to eat my food with my hands. it was a very unpleasant experience and extremely messy. it ruined what could have been a good meal.
i ordered cannelloni and it came wrapped up in plastic and aluminum foil in a to go container. the sauce was leaking out. it was a terrible presentation of their food. sending a meal out that way is appalling.
on a good note the caesar salad was pretty good.

Took the hubs here for his birthday last night. It was quiet, great for a date night/ birthday celebration. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was exceptional, the wine list is admirable, and the food was fantastic. We ordered many of the specials, but I had the seafood stew off the menu and it was absolutely fantastic. Better than most places. He had a steak and it was also superb, perfect temperature (med rare) as requested. Never rushed but allowed to enjoy our time, this restaurant exceeded our expectations and we will return again.
